Week of the Young Child Celebration

in

April 12 – April 16th was the official Week of the Young Child. At CPSC, celebrating young children is a daily phenomenon. As a matter of fact, we spend all our time every day celebrating the beauty, the love, the generosity, the creative ideas, and the unique capacities of every young child in our CPSC community. Even so, we held a special event as we do every year for parents and children to celebrate the young children at CPSC together.

So at 4:00 on the afternoon of April 16th, parents started arriving. Their children and teachers greeted them and took them out into the yards to do activities together (face painting, stringing beads, making colored sand creations, singing, etc.) Our singing teacher, Chaia led a family sing and Dave our beloved Hot Shots teacher took groups of children out to show their parents what the Hot Shots movement program is all about. It was a lovely afternoon and everyone enjoyed themselves! The photos from that afternoon tell the whole story.
